Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in width overall blazoned as follows: Azure and Teal, in chief a deployed parachute Gris and in base a tower issuant of the third masoned Sable, all between two flaunches of the third each charged, in dexter with a double-ward key erect Celeste, wards to base and in sinister a lightning bolt palewise Tenn. Attached below and to the sides a Blue tripartite scroll inscribed "STRENGTH, HONOR, DIVERSITY" in Silver.

Symbolism
The elements comprise the 1st Brigade Combat Team light blue for Military Intelligence resources, the tower signifies Engineers, and the lightning bolt implies the Signal capability. The deployed parachute on the blue field illustrates the unit's airborne mission and area of operation. The five risers and suspension lines of the parachute allude to the five companies united to form a single unit to support the "Devil Brigade."

Background
The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 10 April 2007.
